I have been coughing since the late 1950s, having lived in Mohave County and Las Vegas, Nevada, for 8 years. Moving to Hawaii and other areas did not help. Now I have excessive mucus almost daily. Various medicines recently tried are not working. Is it possible that breathing in downwind nuclear fallout has damaged me permanently?

I am 104lbs (5ft 8ins/173cm tall) and want to lose a stone. My friend said I might end up in the hospital being force-fed if I do. My CPN said I should be in hospital now but wasn't going to make me. I'm scared of getting even fatter, so I said no. What weight do you think they would make me go into the hospital against my wishes?
