I have been experiencing a dull pain in the lower right side of my back, behind the hip bone, for a couple of years. The pain worsens with standing or walking and is also present in the mornings. My hip makes popping sounds, and I have noticed a slight curve in my spine. I broke my ankle 12 years ago, and I believe my walking posture, with my toe kicked out, may be contributing to the issue. What could be causing this pain, and what can I do to alleviate it?
