My husband sleeps deeply for about 22 hours out of 24 hours a day. He has a family history of heart illnesses, had a kidney removal due to a tumor, and has been asthmatic for 18 years. I have chronic constipation despite eating a clean diet rich in fresh vegetables and fruit. I find that whole grains cause bloating and discomfort, and I need to consume a large amount of lettuce to have regular bowel movements.
