I have been experiencing a rapid, irregular heartbeat with shortness of breath, lightheadedness, and mild chest pain for approximately 36 hours now, with no signs of improvement. I’ve had spells of this before, often caused by exercise and relieved by rest and water/icing blood pressure points. Is this something I should see a specialist about?

I am 43 years old and have been taking cocodamol (30/500) for approximately 8 years, prescribed by my doctor for a back injury. My average dose is 4 tablets a day. I am concerned about the long-term use of paracetamol and have read that it may not be good for health. My GP says it's safe as long as I stay within the dose, but I am considering stopping the medication. What are the potential risks, and if I stop taking them, could any damage reverse?
