I have been experiencing intermittent pain under my right breast for over a year. The pain seems to be under the hard lining of the breast and moves slightly towards my back. I can sometimes press on areas where the pain is most intense. I have no specific illnesses, but I suffer from anxiety, allergies, and train at the gym three times a week. What could be causing this pain and what tests or examinations should I consider?

I have a problem with coarse and quickly growing hair under my arms, making it look like I haven't shaved even when I have. I've tried depilatory creams but they haven't fully resolved the issue. I am an insulin-dependent diabetic and wonder if this could be related.

I have stage 3 of 4 cirrhosis of the liver and have developed esophageal varices, which were at stage 1 when diagnosed. I have been hospitalized twice due to vomiting blood, and the varices were banded as a precaution. I am considering bariatric surgery and have been referred to a surgeon in Toronto. Can I still go through the surgery, or will the surgeon refuse due to the varices? I am overweight, have type 2 diabetes managed with insulin, and am concerned about being refused a liver transplant due to my weight.

My husband is 55 years old and has been sick for over four weeks, refusing to see a doctor. He was previously an alcoholic but has been sober for six years. He cannot eat, has lost a lot of weight, is very tired, sleeps most of the day and night, and his skin has turned yellow. He also appears to be bleeding. What should I do to help him?

My husband stopped drinking Memorial Day weekend after a family intervention. However, his behaviors remain the same: angry, irritated, and emotionally immature. He is also very rude and verbally abusive to me. I go to counseling and CODA by myself. How do I convince my husband to get help?

I have been experiencing bladder problems for the last five years, including passing blood in urine and a feeling of discomfort in the bladder area, which is more noticeable when walking or standing. I have had tests such as a scan of kidneys and abdomen, cystoscopy, and microscopic blood in urine, but no clear problem was found. Recently, this discomfort intensified after running, and I am concerned about potential conditions like osteitis pubis or interstitial cystitis (IC). What could be causing these symptoms and what further tests or treatments should I consider?
