I have been experiencing occasional knuckle pain in my left hand, rated at 3.5/10, occurring 7-10 times over the last couple of months. The pain is brief and prompts a desire to stretch the knuckles. What could be the cause of this pain, and is it potentially serious, such as rheumatoid arthritis?

I have been dealing with classic flu symptoms for 9 days, including body aches, crushing fatigue, headache, and a deep cough with little phlegm production. I have taken Mucinex but still cannot bring up phlegm. I'm drinking 1/2 a gallon of water a day. I also have chills, very tired legs, a tightness in my chest, and difficulty taking deep breaths, which easily provokes coughing spasms. I have not seen a doctor yet but am reaching out for help.

I have chest congestion, fevers, and a major cough that hurts my chest. I've been taking an inhaler, expectorant, and Flonase. I feel like the congestion is thick, I don't have a voice, and I can't cough it up, but my oxygen levels are good. Do I need antibiotics at this point?
