I have been experiencing severe early morning wrist and hand pain for approximately 6 months. The pain is not burning but is severe and inflamed, and occasionally awakens me. There is also some numbness in the thumbs. I have a history of neck fused disc problems, right shoulder joint issues needing reverse replacement, left shoulder moderate arthritis, and a history of excessive lifting as a retired nurse. I also had a horrific fall three years ago resulting in a broken nose, lacerations, front teeth repair, and a concussion, which affected my memory and mind. Shortly after, I developed Guttate psoriasis, and my last physical labs showed low T-SHIRT, T-3T4, and elevated HlAC, which my doctor treated with glucophage 500mg QD, and thyroid levels are now normal. My doctor suspects Hashimoto’s syndrome. I have also had depression with anxiety for over 35 years. What could be causing this pain, and what tests or treatments should I consider?

I received a call from my doctor's office stating I need to return for another exam, possibly a biopsy, regarding my recent pap smear. I am 58 years old, have not had a period since 2006, and have never experienced any issues. I am not sexually active, divorced since 2001, and have no bleeding or pain. How worried should I be?

I have been experiencing extreme exhaustion since April, with symptoms including excessive sleep, constant fatigue, cognitive fog, and difficulty staying awake to complete tasks. I have been tested for mono, which was negative, and I am on birth control. What could be causing these symptoms, and what can I do to manage them?

My 17-year-old daughter inhaled too much baby powder while trying to avoid showering during a storm. She experienced chest cramps but is now sleeping after taking a shower and drinking water. Should I be concerned about potential dangers and need for medical care, or is it safe to let her sleep?

Since June, I have been experiencing small pain under my left hypochondrium. After all tests, I was told that it is due to my intense job and emotional stress. What would you suggest to treat it? I was told that sport might help. Anything else?
