I have been experiencing symptoms related to hyperthyroidism, likely due to iodine intake. My bloodwork shows decreasing numbers, with Total T3 nearly in the normal range. Symptoms are improving, but minor exercise still elevates my heart rate. My POTS symptoms are less frequent, and anxiety is decreasing but not back to normal. I am curious about the roles of Free T4 and Free T3 in the body, and when TSH typically starts to increase in resolving hyperthyroid patients. Additionally, I am wondering if waiting for my body to naturally normalize is the right approach, or if I should have considered methimazole treatment.

How long should diverticulitis last? My stool production has fallen for the past three weeks to diarrhea. I had to discontinue antibiotics (Flaygl, 3 daily and Cipro, 2 daily, both 500mg each) after three days due to that. For the past two weeks I have had a burning sensation that comes and goes in my lower left abdomen at the waist. Two years ago, I had an epigastric hernia repair with mesh, would this be a factor in the burning sensation I am feeling?
