I have been taking 100 mg tramadol every 6 hours for 7 years, but it has become ineffective. My pain management doctor has switched me to Norco 5/325, 3 times a day. I work 8+ hours a day and need 4 doses a day to manage my pain, but my doctor only prescribes 3. My pain is localized in my hand and wrist due to an old trauma injury, and it is mostly a constant ache with sharp, stabbing pain at times. I am also on Gabapentin, but I'm unsure if it's effective. Why am I being treated like this, and what can be done to manage my pain more effectively?

I took Claritin and applied cortisone to a bite, and while it no longer feels hot and is better, it has started to turn dark red, almost purple. Is this a normal part of the healing process or should I be concerned?

I have a white-looking pimple on the tip of my eyelid that has been there for at least 6 months and has only gotten bigger. I have not used any medication for it, and applying heat as suggested by a friend did not work. I have not seen a dermatologist about it. What could this be and what should I do?

I'm trying to get pregnant and have been trying for 2.5 years. I have one son who is 8 years old. I've had hepatitis and STDs in the past, treated for both. My periods are usually regular but sometimes come twice a month and are very painful. I've lost a lot of hair due to alopecia. I've been to the ER and they found no cysts, polyps, or other issues, but I'm still confused. What information am I currently seeking?

My fiancé and I recently noticed itchy bites on our bodies after traveling. The bites appear on my thighs and near my armpits, and on his chest and arms. The itching comes and goes, particularly in the morning and night. We stayed at the YMCA in Estes Colorado and noticed the bites a few days later. Our dog also had some scabbing/bite areas and the vet suggested it could be fungal. What could these bites be and how should we treat them?

I have a dark spot on my scalp that was diagnosed as hyperpigmentation by a dermatologist. I have been using 2% and then 5% hydroquinone, but it hasn't worked. Another doctor suggested it might be tinea versicolor and recommended Clotrimazole cream, which also didn't improve the condition. What are the next steps for treating this dark spot on my scalp?
