I have been diagnosed with PBC and AIH. I'm on ursodiol and azathioprine, and while there are improvements in AST/ALT, there's no change in Hep/1. I constantly feel fatigued, have a low-grade headache, slight nausea, need to sleep every 3-4 hours, and sleep poorly due to a urinary problem. I feel like I have the flu and take 9 medications plus 4 eyedrops. I've had a corneal transplant and am trying to control eye pressure. What should I do?

I have a lump on the back of my head that bleeds quite often. Is it soft, hard, or firm? How long have you had this lump for? What area of the head is it on? Does it discharge pus when it bleeds? Does the lump get tender, hot, and painful when it bleeds?

I had therapy for my ankles after breaking my right ankle two years ago. My feet and knees hurt, and my ankles sometimes turn over, making a popping sound. My doctor says it didn't heal properly. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I have a type of injury to my right wrist. There was no trauma, but I have been lifting weights and doing push-ups (P90X workouts, 3x week). The pain started slowly, feeling like a slight sprain. I also sleep on my right side, and extend my right arm as I sleep, making a fist and resting my hand against the wooden headboard. One morning I woke, and my right hand was basically useless. I couldn't use it to pull my shorts down to go to the bathroom. The pain was unbearable, I can only describe it as feeling like slamming your big toe into a door jam. After a hot shower, it loosens up somewhat. Sometimes even the shower water hurts it. I've pulled a sheet over me while sleeping, and the wrist "popped" and was excruciating. Sometimes I can't grip or use my fingers, and once I couldn't hold my toothbrush. I'm right-handed. It's always worse in the am, hurts to write, and doesn't feel hot, but my fingers feel cold, like there is a problem with circulation. Is it gout? Wrist drop? (Radial neuropathy?). Arthritis? A scaphoid fracture? (x-rays negative, my GP gave me a referral to an orthopedist). I'm not hypochondriac, just using the internet to try to find out what's wrong. I rarely go, or need to go, see a Dr. HELP!!!

I had severe low back pain and pain in my testicles after feeling a pop in my groin, which eventually led to a throbbing pain in my waistline. I had an inguinal hernia repair a year ago, which eliminated the testicular pain but not the back pain or the throbbing in my waistline. The surgeon suggested the throbbing might be due to mesh staples being pressured by my belly when sitting, but the staples should have dissolved by now. The throbbing existed before the surgery, and the surgeon couldn't explain it. The back pain varies in intensity and subsides when lying down but increases with activity. The abdominal throbbing comes and goes, more pronounced when sitting or bending. What could be causing these symptoms, and what further diagnostic steps should I take?
