I have had a cough for 11 days, which is constant throughout the day and sometimes accompanied by an itchy throat. The cough is with phlegm and tends to be dry, but there is no tightness in my chest. I am taking Fluimucil and Bioflu for the cough, and I am 26 years old with no significant medical history. I do not have a fever, and there is no change in taste or smell. The main issue is pain and difficulty swallowing. What should I do?

About 3 days ago, I noticed significant swelling and firmness in my left inner elbow, which causes numbness in my thumb, index, and middle fingers when pressure is applied. The swelling has reduced but the firmness and lump remain, causing intermittent pain, especially when my arm is bent for extended periods. I have a history of rheumatoid arthritis and recently had a blood draw and vaccinations. What could be causing this and what should I do?

If I contracted HIV 6 years ago from protected sex with a female, would I possibly have any symptoms by now? I have had no symptoms of HIV and have not been tested for HIV. My recent blood tests and liver function tests show normal results, but I read that globulin tends to be high if HIV is present. What are your thoughts?

I am going in for a colonoscopy tomorrow morning. Can you tell me what to expect? My doctor says I probably won't remember it. Does it typically hurt? How long does it take? Are there any major risks involved? After the procedure, can I drink water? What would be the treatment for a benign polyp in the colon? How long is the recovery time after a polypectomy? Are fiber capsules better than the fiber powder you mix with water, or are they the same?

I am a healthy 26-year-old male, 5'9" and 155lbs, with moderate activity level. I recently took a 15-hour long-haul flight with a lie-flat bed and minimal movement. I am concerned about the risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) due to sporadic calf pain, despite no swelling, heat, or tenderness. I have bad health anxiety and want to know the risk level associated with my flight, considering I drink alcohol but do not smoke and have no family history of blood clots. Does dehydration increase the risk factors?
