I have had a problem with mucous drainage down my throat for the past 3-4 months. Physician treatments have focused on the sinus with antibiotics, Kenalog, and sprays, but there has been no improvement. I have no congestion, runny nose, or signs of allergies or sinus issues. Could it be an ear infection, even though I have no pain or signs of ear infection? My physicians seem unsure about the cause of the mucous.

My mother called the fire department and had me taken away to the hospital ER against my will, where they administered blood tests and urinalysis without my consent. I have no medical insurance and am now receiving huge medical bills. How likely am I to successfully sue my mother for the amount of these medical bills, given that it was her decision to have me taken to the hospital?
