I have had lymphedema for 23 years from node dissection and now have a second cancer in the same breast. I need to know what precautions can be taken to prevent infection during surgery. I have a small, localized, early-detected tumor. When I asked the surgeon if I should take antibiotics before the surgery to prevent an infection, he said to worry about it if it happened. I have a standing order for antibiotics if I ever get an infection, and I have been very careful with my arm, but I won't be in control during surgery.

I have been suffering from BV for 9 months, and my symptoms are getting worse despite trying antibiotics and natural treatments. Probiotics help initially but then the discharge returns. I have had all other tests, and they confirm BV. I get discharge after eating, and I'm wondering if my BV could be related to a stomach or intestinal issue. I am currently using Repesh Pro-B, which worked for a few days but then I saw grey discharge again. Antibiotics like clindamycin and metronidazole have made my symptoms worse. What could be the underlying problem?

What is the latest treatment for chronic and active Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) and nerve pain, especially in the context of co-infections like Lyme, Bartonella, and Babesia? I have been treating these conditions aggressively for a year and a half without much success, and my main symptom is severe nerve pain that has persisted for five years. I am currently taking Gabapentin for the nerve pain and have tried a clean diet and natural treatments for EBV. What additional steps can I take to address the nerve pain and EBV, and is a nerve biopsy necessary if EMG and MRI show no damage?

I have pinched tendons in my bone from fixing my clavicle, which prevents me from raising my arm without pain and sleeping laying down. I have been sleeping in a chair for 4 1/2 months. I am in Michigan and will need surgery to remove the tendons. What steps should I take for treatment?
