I have had pain in my right groin off and on for years. I had surgery for varicose veins in my right leg in the 1970s, with surgical clips left in. I am 86 now and have gained weight, especially in my abdomen. I wonder if this is the cause or if I have a hernia. What procedure would be used to determine if I have a hernia in this region? I also have pain in the pubic area and used to get cortisone injections for this. Standing for a long time causes discomfort, and I also have pain on the back side of the same spot. Stretching seems to help with this.

I have a really bad posture and have been sitting a lot for years. I experimented with diaphragmatic breathing but now want to breathe with my chest, but my ribcage isn't expanding as it used to. My frontal rib cage only moves when I lay flat on the floor. How can I fix this and improve my breathing?

My husband has been experiencing constant itching for months and has visited a diabetes doctor, an allergist, a regular MD, and a dermatologist, but no one can prescribe something to make it stop. He is using permethrin cr 5% 60 GM and dose-in 25 mg 3 x daily, and takes 5 mg Lipitor, 20 mg toporol, and kombiglyze xr 2.5-1,000 MG twice daily. What could be causing the itching and what can be done to alleviate it?

I'm a 35-year-old overweight female. After a deep massage in February, I experienced chest pain, anxiety, rib pain, nausea, stomach pain, and a bitter taste in my mouth. My recent blood work shows normal ALT, AST, bilirubin, A1C, and sugar levels. I'm nauseous after eating and worried about pancreatic cancer. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?

I have really bad stomach pain. I'm a 31-year-old female, and the pain came on suddenly last night. It was all over the abdominal area, and I couldn't pinpoint one specific location. I also experience mild, intermittent nausea but no changes in bowel movement. I do not have any of my female organs besides my cervix, and my appendix has been removed. I suffer from chronic anxiety and stress. What could be causing my stomach pain, and what should I do if it happens again?
