I have had two miscarriages, both early on, the first at five weeks and the second at ten weeks. In the case of the second, the baby was developing behind schedule and testing indicated the baby was fine. I read articles suggesting that many people with an MTHFR variant had multiple miscarriages and it was an easy fix once discovered. My 23andMe data showed I have a mutation in each MTHFR gene (compound heterozygous). I haven't seen my OBGYN yet but I also read that sometimes this is a rejected theory by many doctors. Does it seem plausible that this could cause the problem?

I saw a streak on my stool that wasn’t an obvious red but was a shade of brown different from the stool as a whole. The stool was between shades of brown and green. The streak was approximately 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide and ran the length of the stool. Is it possible to have streaks that run the length of the stool and not be blood? I had a colonoscopy in May last year and 18 months before that. Should I be worried about this?
