I have had upper back pain that radiates into my ribs and chest on and off for years, which started during pregnancy about 5 years ago. The pain is mostly achy, and the only thing that somewhat helps is taking 2 Aleve for muscle and back pain. I'm currently 35 years old and take omeprazole and sertraline, which help manage the pain when taken consistently. I also have GERD and a small hiatal hernia. What could be the cause of this pain, and what can I do to alleviate it?

Every time I go out for a meal, I have to run to the toilet within 20 minutes after eating, but I'm fine eating at home. Can I take Imodium before the meal to prevent this? I have no other symptoms besides the urgent need to use the toilet after eating out, and this has been happening for about a year. I only have osteoporosis and am 80 years old.
