I have knee pain due to a torn meniscus repair and arthritis. My insurance, Blue Cross, did not cover the injections for my knee. The only thing that helps on certain days is Percocet, which was previously prescribed but is no longer available. I have used 5 mg Percocet with acetaminophen before and have seen a doctor about my arthritis at Orlin and Cohen in Lynbrook, NY. I have been prescribed Percocet a few times over the past years, but not anymore. What else can I do for my knee pain?

My 9-year-old grandson put a paper towel in his ear canal to block out noisy neighbors and then tried to remove it with a Q-tip, pushing it further in. He has no symptoms and the ear is not red. I can visually see the paper towel but cannot reach it with tweezers. How can we safely remove the paper towel?

I have external hemorrhoids that have been present since my first child was born. Recently, I've experienced constant lower back pain that feels like it originates from my lower bowel and is relieved by bowel movements, which have become more frequent and looser. There is no blood or weight loss, but the bowel movements are becoming more regular. I've had this pain for a few weeks and am not taking any medication except tamoxifen, which I've been on for three years since having breast cancer surgery. Should I see a doctor about this?

I've been experiencing digestive problems that I initially thought were due to gluten sensitivity, but they seem to be getting worse. My symptoms include headache, fatigue, brain fog, sweating, anxiety with heavy breathing, dizziness, weakness, bloating, gas, belching, and spasms that are relieved by CBD oil. I am a 62-year-old female in generally good health, but I haven't seen a doctor about these symptoms. What could be causing these issues, and what tests or treatments should I consider?

I have had a fever, headache, and body pain since Friday, which I initially thought was the flu. After developing weakness (can barely lift my leg to go up steps) and swelling in the extremities on one side (left), I went to the GP. The doctor took blood for many tests and is trying to get approval for an MRI. My wife is concerned about potential neurological damage due to the weakness and wants me to go to the ER for immediate tests/results. The GP isn't rushing the blood work, so results will be next week. I've taken Tylenol for the fever and occasional Ibuprofen for body aches. The GP started me on an antibiotic today, suspecting Lyme or a bacterial infection, but unsure why it's only on one side. I recently cruised to the Bahamas, but unsure if something I picked up there could be affecting me now. Should I go to the ER for immediate tests/results?
