I went to the doctor a week ago for swollen tonsils, earache, and a cough. They diagnosed it as a common cold and prescribed penicillin. Since then, I've experienced high blood pressure (150/94), swollen ankles, and a return of my cough. About half an hour ago, I started having sharp chest pain under my breasts, more severe on the left side, with a weird flicker sensation. My cough is also returning, making it hard to breathe. I have a history of high blood pressure and hypothyroidism. What could be causing these symptoms, and what should I do?

I am a 28-year-old female who recently experienced swelling in the right side of my jaw shortly after starting antibiotics for an intestinal infection. The swelling subsided with allergy medication but returned after stopping both medications. I also have fatigue, light-headedness, a sore throat, knee pain, leg fatigue, and cold chills, but no fever. Blood tests are clean. What could be causing these symptoms and how are they related?
