The tip of my big toe is stinging badly and turning black. I had significant surgeries on my left leg, including a total knee replacement, and have noticed 'marbling' on the skin around my knee. What could be causing these symptoms, and what should I do?

My daughter, who is 16 years old, has purple toes that clear up in the morning, clubbing of the fingernail beds, muscle loss in her hands, and has been diagnosed with possible Raynaud's, acrocyanosis, and valve issues in her legs. She has seen multiple specialists but no definitive diagnosis. Should I consider calling UCLA for further evaluation, and do you have any ideas or possible diagnoses?

Diagnose carpal tunnel in both hands. I'm 76 years old, play golf, and sometimes wake at night with pain in my lower left arm. I use a splint at night, and cold bothers my hands. I also experience slight tingling at times. How long is recovery if I decide to operate? Are there any alternatives? What happens if I do nothing?
