I am a vet suffering from PTSD, panic attacks, and depression. My psychiatrist wants me to switch from .5 mg Xanax 3x daily as needed and .5 mg Klonopin at night to 25 mg Sertraline (Zoloft). I have had bad reactions to other medications like Wellbutrin. I also heard that Theanine or GABA might help with Klonopin withdrawal. What are your thoughts on Zoloft and using GABA or Benadryl for withdrawal symptoms?
