I am experiencing sharp pains in the mid to upper left quadrant, about 2 inches left of the navel. The pain has occurred three times over the past month and a half, lasting about 3 to 4 days each time. I have a history of constipation and no vomiting. What could be causing these symptoms and what can I do to help narrow down the diagnosis?
