I have had constant mucus and throat clearing since I was very young, and I'm now 57 years old. I don't have other symptoms except for a persistent drip from my nose that never stops. I want to know what over-the-counter medicine can help dry up the drip and mucus. I've tried Claritin D but don't remember it being very effective. Is there anything besides Claritin D that can help?

Is there any risk of contracting HIV from touching a stain on a hotel room hairdryer that looked like human nasal mucus, semen, or vaginal mucus, and then using a disinfectant wipe and washing my hands? I also have a pinpoint wound due to eczema on one hand and experienced a slight fever (37.5°C) afterward.

I have major indigestion, gas, burps, and flatulence, sometimes the pain is so bad I have to vomit. The vomit is usually just stomach acid. Recently, my burps have started to smell bad, and the pain is intense. I eat Tums for relief, but they don't help. What could be causing this, and what can I do to alleviate the symptoms?
