Can chlamydia cause a low platelet count?

Had surgery in 2002 for GERD, and last month started having symptoms again, except I still cannot throw up. Could there be something going on from the surgery? Had heart tests and gallbladder tests, all okay except high blood pressure.

I tested positive for genital herpes (HSV-1) and my boyfriend tested positive for the 'cold sore virus' (HSV-1) but negative for genital herpes (HSV-2). I had a sore on my genitals once, and my boyfriend gets cold sores. I'm confused about how he doesn't have genital herpes and if I could have gotten HSV-1 from his cold sore. Is it possible for his cold sore to have transmitted HSV-1 to my genitals, and should we use condoms to protect him from getting sores on his genitals?

Can letrozole mitigate glandular long-standing gynecomastia that developed years ago while experimenting with transdermal testosterone? Is there anything other than surgery to address this issue?

I have recurrent hemorrhoids that have been present for 1-2 weeks. It hurts when touched and seems to be in the same spot. There is no blood in the stool, but I sometimes experience random pain. I am also concerned about a small dot near the entrance of my anus that doesn't hurt. Could this be a polyp or something else not dangerous, like nerves or varicose veins?
