I live in San Antonio where temperatures often exceed 104 degrees. After a strenuous hour-long run followed by intense swimming, I felt extremely tired and weak, and have not fully recovered. My blood work is mostly normal, but my white blood cell count is slightly elevated. I'm trying to understand how to protect my health in such hot weather and whether my body performs better in cooler climates. What specific measures can I take to improve my well-being and prevent such episodes?

I had a c-section 3 years ago. I'm experiencing labor-like pains and pain during bowel movements similar to what I felt after my c-section. I'm also having abdominal pain that worsens with activities like house cleaning or lifting heavy objects. What could be causing these symptoms, and who should I consult for help?

I woke up from a nap and felt a tingling in my neck on the right side under the ear. I rubbed it and felt a welt. I looked in the mirror and could definitely see a bulge. It is now 3 hours later and I feel it growing. No pain but it is now over 3" and is swelling into my face, along my ear and down the side of the neck. When I put ice on it it goes down but fills up again and larger. Really no pain but I do feel like a draining and puffing sensations. What could this be and what should I do?

I’ve recently developed blister-like bumps in my genital area. They itch, burn when I use the bathroom, and appeared after starting new birth control pills. I’m in a monogamous relationship and have no flu-like symptoms. Could this be caused by the new pills or something else?

My spit is really thick like glue, and my phlegm is the same. It has been this way for years. My doctor started me taking Mucinex several years ago, which helps, but it gets thicker every year. I quit smoking 2 1/2 years ago, but it didn't help. I have fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, and am immune deficient. What could be causing this thick phlegm and what can I do about it?
