I'm a 33-year-old woman experiencing major digestive problems that affect my work and daily life. I'm trying to avoid medication and have already started changing my eating habits, but even fiber supplements and more vegetables aren't helping. What can I do to get relief from my digestive issues?

I had a chest cold 2 weeks ago and have fully recovered. However, I developed a pain on my right side at the bottom of my ribcage. The pain is sharp when I cough or sneeze, and dull when breathing normally. I've been taking Aleve, but the pain persists. I'm unsure if it's my ribs or an internal organ causing the pain. Any advice?

I had sciatic nerve damage in my back and surgery in July 2010. Now, although most of my pain is gone, I am having problems controlling my lower body movements. This has been going on for a few months and seems to be getting worse. When I walk, it sometimes feels like I'm drunk. I take high blood pressure medicine, allergy medication, and Percocet. I also have cervical spine damage at C5, 6, & 7. What should I do?

I have a great exam coming up and experience great anxiety about it. I would like to have some medication at hand in case of a black-out. My doctor prescribed me propanolol because another doctor prescribed me that earlier. I don't tremor in case of anxiety so my doctor said it was unlikely that the propanolol would be effective. I have used it once before and I wasn't as anxious as normally because I was completely dozed off. I took one tablet and wouldn't have been able to participate in travel. Is there another option for me? Especially because I study biological psychology and my textbook says propanolol can influence recent memory and that's not what I need right before an exam. Thank you.
