I have a perirectal abscess that a doctor said was too diffuse to drain and prescribed antibiotics to dry it up. However, I am experiencing cycles of fever and chills and am in significant discomfort. Should I go to the emergency room?

I fell from a horse last Sunday and went to the trauma center because I have a fusion at L4, L5, S1 and was terrified that something came loose. I found out via CT scan that the hardware looks good and nothing is broken. However, I had severe bruising to my kidney and heart (ribs). Everything is feeling 110% better except my 'heart'. I am unable to lift anything up or even get out of a chair without being very careful. Would a CT scan see if there was anything more going on than bruising? Should I go back or just give it more time?

I have had a rash under my bra line for months, which was diagnosed as a yeast skin infection but hasn't responded to treatment. I've also been to a dermatologist without success. My child has had nonstop headaches for the past few days, and we both struggle to breathe when we sleep at night. I recently found mold growing in the padding of my carpet in the bedroom, and we had a water heater leak into our room in January. Could these issues be related to the mold?

My husband is 49 and has a bad cold in his chest. He has a cough with drainage, a low-grade fever, and diarrhea. Could the drainage cause an upset stomach, and what should he do?
