I recently saw a neurologist due to neuropathy and had blood work done, including TSH, ESR, and vitamin B12 levels. My TSH was normal, ESR is 75, and B12 levels are 1148. I am a 56-year-old diabetic female. What could be causing my neuropathy and elevated ESR?

I have an MRI that shows multiple bulging discs and a pinched nerve in my lower left back. I am self-paying until my settlement goes through and refuse back injections and surgery, which my PCP agrees with. Pain clinics have turned me down due to my age. My PCP prescribed Xanax for one month and Oxycodone 15mg for one month, but my constant pain requires more relief. I work as a general contractor and need my back. I would like to switch to Oxycodone 30mg to reduce the frequency of dosing. What options do I have?

I am experiencing severe right side lower rib pain, along with knee pain that is almost as harsh as the rib pain and groin pain. I have a history of back injury from 2007, kidney 'gravel' earlier this year, and have been managing with physical therapy, medications, and chiropractic care. I am currently off most medications except for Singulair for allergy/asthma symptoms. What could be causing this pain, and what additional tests or treatments should I consider?
