I started a new oral birth control in April, and about 2.5 weeks ago, I began experiencing pelvic pain and unexpected bleeding. My doctor initially thought it was an infection, but tests showed no UTI or bacteria. My period lasted longer than usual, and the pain has been semi-constant, ranging from an 8 to a 4 on the pain scale. My primary care physician believes the birth control is the cause, but I would like a second opinion. Additionally, I have ulcerative colitis and am leaving for my honeymoon soon. What should I do about the birth control, and what can I expect if I stop taking it immediately?

I am wearing a pair of Glycerin 16 shoes and find them unstable, possibly due to their softness, which causes a loss of control during quick movements. I am not a runner but wear neutral running shoes with custom orthotics for high arches. I previously wore Glycerin 12, 13, and 14, which were excellent, but the Glycerin 16 feels like a significant design change. My question is whether there have been any changes in the Glycerin 17, specifically in shaping or other aspects that might provide better control. I use these shoes for everyday wear and walking, not for running.
