I have burning pain in my feet and my fingertips get painfully cold. The foot pain started over a year ago and is constant, sometimes worsening, even at night. The pain feels like hot pins and needles. I had throat cancer 6 years ago and underwent radiotherapy, but now my life and diet are very healthy. I have had normal blood tests, including B12 and folate levels, and no other chronic conditions. I take a B-complex vitamin and have no history of arthritis or spine injury. What could be causing this pain, and what further tests should I consider?

I am enquiring for my 19-year-old son who received a diagnosis as a toddler but an assessment isn't reflected in his medical records. Now that he's older, he still struggles with social interactions, understanding teasing, idioms, and taking things literally. He is insecure, lacks confidence, and doesn't like leaving the home. He was bullied in school and has problems with certain foods and clothing. Is he truly autistic, and how can I get him a formal diagnosis and help that would be paid for by his medical insurance?

I have broken ribs on my right side and my left arm feels cold, numb, and tingly, with a heating sensation. It started 4 days ago, and I went to the emergency room yesterday, where I received a lidocaine patch. The patch helped with some pain. I'm concerned if the issues with my arm are related to the broken ribs or if it's something different. Should I go back to urgent care, or is this likely due to sleeping in a different position? I also have a history of back injuries from being hit by cars, and I'm currently in physical therapy for my back. Could this be related to my arm's symptoms?
