I think I might have an ear infection. My ear started hurting today, and I have a bit of a headache and am sensitive to loud noises. I am 25 years old, not currently using any medications, and have a history of ear infections as a child but haven't had one since getting surgery (tubes in ears). My nose isn't stuffy, I don't have a sore throat, and my ear isn't clogged, just painful. I don't have a fever but occasionally experience difficulty with balance/dizziness. There is no discharge, and I am not taking any medicines except for ibuprofen earlier, which didn't help much. The only physical condition I have is anemia.

I might have worn a tampon over another tampon yesterday morning. I felt a little resistance while inserting one and later suspected that I might have already had a tampon inside. I have no irritation or discomfort except for bloating. I am not getting any menstrual flow. How long should I wait to seek medical help to ensure I don't get an infection if a tampon is lodged in? Should I be looking for any specific symptoms?

I have aortic calcifications and am concerned about their cause and seriousness. I am a 42-year-old female with a history of MAC lung disease, part of my left lung removed in 2018, and currently on a liquid diet due to eosinophilic esophagitis. I take fondaparinux, montelukast, qvar, xopenex, Ensure, dexamethasone, and guaifenesin. What causes aortic calcifications, is it serious, and what can be done to reverse it?

I have a hard lump at the back of my head near my neck on the left side. I just noticed it today and have been experiencing neck stiffness and pain for about a week. Additionally, I have numbness and pressure under my right shoulder blade, a feeling of movement in my neck, and swollen lymph nodes above my left clavicle. I recently had a sore throat with pus in my tonsils, which have since returned to normal. My children had a cold with sore throat and vomiting, and I caught it from them. What could be causing these symptoms?
