I have tested negative for HIV using an oral swab at 3 months, and twice with ELISA tests at 6 and 12 months. Could I be a rare case that didn’t produce antibodies? Why does the American Red Cross use a DNA test to catch every case, while CDC and others recommend ELISA? Why take a chance for a false negative?

I had a total hip replacement in April 2018 and recently had a routine x-ray showing possible loosening of the femoral device. A subsequent bone scan was negative, but I have been experiencing stabbing pain in my thigh while walking for the past three weeks. I haven't seen a doctor about this yet, and my medical history includes AVN (Avascular Necrosis) which led to the hip replacement. What could be causing this pain and what should I do next?

I saw an ENT specialist who found nothing wrong with my sinus, but I still experience dizziness. My nose is bent on the inside. What could be causing this, and what treatments can I try?

I have a history of gallbladder attacks and was diagnosed with gallstones and adenomyomatosis of the gallbladder. My blood tests showed slightly elevated WBCs, ALT, and ALK Phos, and an ultrasound revealed a diffusely echogenic liver, a nondistended gallbladder wall measuring up to 1.4 cm in thickness, and no biliary duct dilatation. Should I consider a laparoscopic cholecystectomy, or is there a risk of unnecessary surgery if the gallbladder is not causing issues?
