I am 53 years old and had unprotected sex with a 30-year-old woman. A week ago, during a business trip, my testicle became swollen. I had no signs of STDs, no discharge, no burning, and no pain. I went to a clinic, and they prescribed doxycycline hyclate. The swelling went away in 36 hours. They said it was just a bacterial infection, but I got an STD test which came back negative. Could I really be negative, or am I just worried?

I had diarrhea all night and took 3 Imodium over a period of time. The diarrhea is starting again, and I am 71 years old and pretty sick. Can I or should I take more Imodium? I have no side effects from taking Imodium this morning, but I am unsure if I can go to the doctor without having an accident.
