I've been experiencing constant, achey pain at the sternum (middle of the chest) for a few weeks. The pain can increase with certain movements and positions, and I have a history of Premature Ventricular Contractions (PVC), am a smoker, and take omeprazole for stomach burning. Additionally, I've noticed a red, itchy patch on the skin above the sternum. What could be causing these issues and what should I do?
