I've been experiencing frequent gas (burping), random 'air bubbles' in my upper middle chest area and throat, and tingling in the gallbladder area when I eat too much. I've had normal cardiac tests, and I typically get these symptoms when stressed or after consuming coffee. What could be causing these symptoms, and how can they be tested or treated?

I have been diagnosed with Mitral Valve Prolapse (minor case) and occasionally experience PVCs (premature ventricular contractions) which are often triggered by alcohol, caffeine, stress, and IBS. My EKGs have been normal, but I am concerned about the potential dangers of PVCs and how to manage them through diet, supplements, and lifestyle changes. Should I be worried about PVCs, and what steps should I take to reduce them?

I recently started drinking kombucha and believe I'm experiencing a yeast infection on my gum. There is white stuff on my gum and a canker sore-like lesion on my inside cheek. I'm currently eating yogurt and my wife has a Diflucan pill. Will the Diflucan pill take care of the infection?

I woke up with a fever of 101.3, a headache, drainage, plugged ears, body aches, and chills. These symptoms have been recurring since Friday. My 17-year-old son also has similar symptoms but no fever. We both have not felt well for a while, and my son recently had a stomach virus that left him 12 lbs lighter and with a low white count. Could we have the same thing? Should we go back to the doctor?

My wife has been sick for three weeks with what we thought was a cold. She had the flu shot but was coughing and her nose was running. She could not keep anything on her stomach, so she was drinking juices and chocolate milk. She did not seem to be getting much better and was sleeping a lot. She has been diabetic in the past and has 30% use of her kidneys left. Yesterday we checked her blood sugar and the meter would not read it, indicating it is over 600. We have been checking every 4-6 hours and it still says the same thing. She has switched to nothing but water and has no symptoms she can feel. I take LANTUS for my blood sugar, would it be okay to give her a dose or two to get her sugar down? She also has some of her Glucophage left from when she was on it. 500 mg twice a day. The doctor took her off of it a year ago because her diabetes was doing very good. All this has happened since she has been sick and we feel it is temporary. How do we get it back down to where we can get a reading? She wants to handle it on her own and not go to the emergency room.
