I've been having my period for a month and a half now, with extreme pain localized to my left side, particularly near my pelvic area. The pain is sharp and makes it difficult to stand straight. I am 26 years old, healthy, not sexually active, and have not seen a doctor yet. My last menstrual period was on 10/15, and I am not on birth control. My periods have been regular for the last two years, but they were irregular before that. When was your last Gynecologic exam?

I have been concerned about an STD for a week. I am 20 years old, not using any medications, and have no significant medical history. Earlier this month, I noticed something that was not painful, almost went unnoticed, never changed in appearance, and disappeared in under a week. I experienced a visual migraine with symptoms including blind spots, difficulty reading, and numbness in my left hand that spread from my thumb to my fingers. I napped and the vision issues subsided, but the numbness persisted. I am concerned about the numbness and whether it is related to the migraine.
