I had an episode similar to SVT yesterday and was wondering if I would be okay today. I have panic attacks and anxiety, and sometimes my heart rate goes over 120, reaching 140 for an hour or two, then returning to 100 and tapering off. I called an ambulance, and they diagnosed sinus tachycardia an hour after the incident. I've had three ECGs in the last three years, and they showed nothing but tachycardia. What should I do in the meantime while waiting for a cardiologist appointment, as my heart rate is still elevated?
