I wake up with slight numbness in both legs. The symptoms have been there for about two weeks, occurring on some days. I suffer from epilepsy and take Tegretol daily. I have had cosmetic surgery in 2011 and gastric bypass surgery in 2008. I also have pain in my breast and a non-cancerous tumor in my breast. No tests have been done for the leg numbness.

I woke up with numbness and burning in my lower left leg that has not dissipated in 3 weeks. I am 33 years old and female. I drank alcohol the night before the numbness occurred. What could be the cause of this numbness and burning, and what investigations should be done?

My husband has had a skin rash and itch that appears in various locations all over his back, arms, buttocks, etc., since approximately February 20th. It developed during a trip to Florida where he was swimming in a saltwater pool. He has been treated by 2 doctors since our return but the condition has not improved. He was recently prescribed Apo-Prednisone 50mg, but that has not helped. He is now waiting to see a dermatologist but is going crazy with the itch. Can you tell me what condition might be causing this and what should he do to get it cleared up ASAP?

Over a period of several months, I've had increasing pain in the upper thigh crease that occurs the next day after exercise (swimming, walking). The pain is diffuse, not radiating, and improves with rest but recurs. What could be the cause and what should I do?
