I was diagnosed with shingles and was prescribed 500 mg Valtrex, which is now finished. I had the shingles shot last year. Should I get the prescription renewed? I have a minor rash in two places, one near my right kidney and the other near my umbilicus. The rash is more annoying than an issue at this point. I took the Valtrex 6 times daily for about a week. I am diabetic with high blood pressure and associated prescriptions.

I have a swollen, painful gland on the right side of my neck for over 6 months, periodic fever blisters or sores on my tongue on the same side, and periodic sinus congestion on the same side. I'm 50 years old, and my daughter (16) was diagnosed with Mono 7 months ago. Could I have Mono at my age? What other conditions could be causing these symptoms?

My throat is in severe pain, and I took Advil, which didn't work. I was in the hospital last night due to taking too many painkillers. I have trouble swallowing and the doctors think I may have strep throat. What should I do for relief and should I go to the hospital for antibiotics?

I had Megabolistic anemia and an allergy to mixed protein and wheat/gluten, which led to hormonal imbalance, including testosterone and vitamin B-12 deficiencies. This resulted in a deficiency of Nitric Oxide (NO), pins and needles itching, a foggy mind, ED, and PE issues. My blood also thickened, affecting blood flow to the penile region. I was treated with Methycobal shots for B-12 and Testoviron shots for testosterone deficiency, which helped but reduced sperm motility. I had to stop the Testoviron due to this side effect. Please advise on how to manage HRT with low-dose testosterone patches, OTC medicines for Nitric Oxide and vitamin B-12 deficiencies, and thinning of blood. Additionally, what should I take for slightly high levels of large red blood cells (Macrocytosis)?
