I was just diagnosed with cellulitis in my left hand, specifically the thumb joint. It is swollen, red, and painful, and my thumb is not mobile. I have previously had cellulitis in my right lower leg and was treated with amoxicillin for 20 days. I was recently prescribed Bactrim, but I also have amoxicillin and Keflex on hand. Which antibiotic is the best to treat this current bout of cellulitis? Additionally, I had acupuncture on my thumb joint a few days before the onset of symptoms. Could this have contributed to the cellulitis, and am I more susceptible to getting it again since I've had it before?

For your current bout of cellulitis, Bactrim is the best antibiotic to take as it is effective again...

I was using Androgel, about a sachet of 50 per week for 6 weeks, and stopped cold turkey, experiencing withdrawal symptoms such as no erections, nervousness, and insomnia. What can I do to get my erections back, and how should I manage the dosage and cycles of Androgel to avoid these symptoms in the future?

I am 5'4" and 100 pounds. I am scared I am going to die of starvation. I am 23 years old, have high levels of anxiety, and my stomach is always in knots, making it difficult to tell if I am hungry. I didn't eat for about three days, don't drink enough fluids, and have elevated thyroid hormones. What should I do?

I have a lump on the side of my neck, noticed exactly a week ago. It's on one side, about three to four finger widths below the ear, and is about the size of a fingertip. I have joint pains due to arthritis but no unintentional weight loss, fever, or anemia. I haven't seen a doctor yet and am seeking a second opinion. What could this lump be, and should I be concerned or monitor it?

I have a relapse of pneumonia and have been experiencing chest pains and swollen, painful lymph glands in various parts of my body. I have been on antibiotics (penicillin, clarithromycin, and now augmentin) and have also used steroids, inhalers, and painkillers. I have underlying bronchiectasis. Can I hope that these symptoms will go away if I respond to the antibiotic this time?
