I was recently diagnosed with mild non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy. I have had Type 2 diabetes for 17 years and my A1C levels have ranged between 6.2 to 8.4, currently around 6.7 to 7.3. I am concerned about the possible side effects of Rybelsus, particularly its link to diabetic retinopathy complications.
