I woke up this morning with a small amount of water draining out of my left ear. Since then, the ear has been throbbing off and on, though is not painful. No other fluid has drained from the ear since this morning. Should I be worried? Can I wait a day or two to see if this improves, or should I go see a doctor right away?

I seem to be constipated and I'm not sure what the 'cure' might be. I use flax seed with my morning cereal, drink lots of water, and I'm 74 years old. I take a low dose statin, Duloxetine (20 mg), Alfuzosin, and lisinopril. I also take 400 mg magnesium, 50 mcg D3, and Glucosamine. Any suggestions?

I have been coughing a lot and aggressively, and at some points it'll get challenging to breathe. My chest feels sore. I don't have COVID and I saw a physician last week and they said it's a viral infection. I'm wondering how long will I need until I'm better. So I can go back to work. The coughing is not constant throughout the day but comes and goes, mostly wet but sometimes dry. My chest is sore, and I don't know about tightness. I have eczema but no known asthma history. Meals do not aggravate my symptoms, and I believe I snore at night. My most predominant symptoms are cough, runny nose, and slight discomfort in breathing at times, which goes away when I cough. I work at a grocery store.

I need a Covid vaccination. I live in Gainesville, am 74 years old, and have not received a call from the Alachua County Health Dept for an appointment. I understand UF doctors can get me an appointment for the drive-up vaccinations at the Springhill clinic. How can I get an appointment soon? I have no symptoms of COVID-19 and am generally in good health, but recently diagnosed with pre-diabetes, taking Metform for it.

My mother-in-law left the hospital against medical advice after having a nephrostomy tube removed. She has a history of colon cancer and has been unable to eat for six months. She is 72 years old and takes Tylenol and amoxicillin. What could be the potential outcomes of her leaving the hospital without continuing the procedure?
