I have had tenderness on the left side of my neck for approximately one week. I do not have any other symptoms such as numbness, tingling, trouble swallowing, breathing, or pain in my left shoulder or arm. I am a 73-year-old female and a former smoker who quit 20 years ago. Should I have this tenderness diagnosed, and if so, should I schedule an appointment with an ENT or another specialist?

The doctor recommended Eltroxin treatment, but the sonar report showed no issues. Is it possible to have harmless neck inflation without symptoms, and does thyroid hypertrophy cause pain during swallowing?

I had an unprotected exposure with an unknown girl on 27th November 2017, followed by several protected encounters. I have taken multiple HIV tests (combi + P24 and PCR RNA) over the following months, all of which were negative. I am experiencing symptoms such as headache, stomach upset, and itchy throat, and my H. pylori test is positive. Do I require further HIV testing, and what could be causing my symptoms?

In relation to my previous question about a liver spot, wouldn’t the MRI pick this up? My last one was in October. If this one is sinister, can it be removed? He said he got most of it to use for a biopsy. Is there a minimum amount of tissue you need? I guess it’s hard to estimate how big based on this info.
