I woke up with difficulty swallowing on Saturday after a long night of drinking. I went to the ER and was treated for an allergic reaction. My throat feels dry, tight, and filled with thick mucus, making swallowing difficult. I have no fever, pain, or sore throat. I was prescribed an EpiPen and prednisone. I have a history of acid reflux and anxiety, and I take 10mg XR Adderall daily. What could be causing these symptoms, and what should I do?

Our loved one is 38 weeks pregnant and has failed 2 urine alcohol tests despite abstaining. She has been taken to jail again today, and we are worried for her and her unborn baby. Is there any documented proof that the test is wrong due to pregnancy? She may have a yeast infection.
