I have outer wrist pain when spinning my hand, especially when turning my wrist outward past my little finger. I am a Division 1 volleyball player. I noticed mild gynecomastia earlier this year, which became more pronounced and tender in late July. The right nipple had a slight red pimple-like spot that resolved with warm compresses. The right side feels lumpy and mobile under the skin. My PCP found nothing concerning and all lab results were normal, including testosterone levels that have been decreasing over the past few years. I stopped using a DHT blocking shampoo and conditioner due to potential hormonal effects. My PCP suggests retesting hormones in January. I am trying to understand the causation and the timeframes for hormone levels to rebalance if an offending agent is stopped. Can you provide insight?
