I’m feeling very bloated, with occasional burning and pressure pain in the central lower abdomen. I have a great deal of pressure in the rectum with very little stool coming out. I took Preparation H and it helped some. I feel like having a bowel movement but only pass gas and a little stool. No fever. I feel awful. I’ve been dealing with this off and on for about 3 weeks. I have GERD and take Nexium every day, but have been cutting back because I didn’t notice as much reflux. I also feel pressure in the middle of my chest and feel loaded with gas. I had a colonoscopy a month ago, which showed three polyps but otherwise was okay. I’ve had IBS for many years and a bout with diverticulitis. This doesn’t feel like either of those. I just feel like I need to use the restroom but only pass gas. Constipation has been an issue this year, but I don’t believe I’m constipated. I am a young 65-year-old female taking Avapro 150 mg daily, levothyroxine 88 mg once daily, and Nexium 40 mg daily but have been cutting back to every 3rd day until the last two nights. I had a right hip replaced in October of 2017 and left hip replaced in 2007. No other surgeries. I usually have a bowel movement daily, but it’s been since my last bout of several loose stools about a week ago. I took milk of magnesia about 4 nights ago because of the pressure and straining to go. I feel extremely bloated with occasional stabbing pain in the belly (lower middle). I don’t see how I can be constipated. Not eating much the last few days and felt “cleaned out” a week ago due to taking a laxative, stool softener, and prunes. But I do feel if I could have diarrhea, I might feel better. My gastroenterologist said I have “moderate” diverticuli. I had a few sips of 7Up last night. That’s been it. Mostly drink water and very little alcohol. In fact, none in the last 3 weeks. Today was the first day I’ve had a period of nausea, but no vomiting. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?

I was injured by a possible contaminated needle in an elevator. Could this cause a transfer of viruses, myocardial infarction, or other heart problems? Additionally, I experienced minor blows to the chest and head, and have a body temperature of 37.4°C. I also feel scared, anxious, and have chest pain. What are the potential risks and necessary checks for these issues?

I am a 28-year-old female experiencing intense pain in my cervix/vaginal area and rectum/anus for the past two weeks. The pain was initially severe and felt like my rectum was swollen and full, similar to having a tennis ball inside. I took a laxative, which helped temporarily, but I still feel bloated and full, even after daily bowel movements. I can't pass gas without pain, and my doctor prescribed medication for IBS, which hasn't helped with the swelling or pain. I have no blood in my stools or fever. What could be causing this pain and swelling, and what can I do to alleviate it?

I am experiencing constant upper back pain since starting Bactrim for a UTI, with no recent injuries. I have a cardiac history and am taking multiple medications including Bactrim, gabapentin, aspirin, hydrochlorothiazide, insulin, Metformin, metoprolol, Plavix, vitamin D, vitamin B12, iron, and amlodipine. I have a slightly elevated PSA and had a urine culture and sensitivity test done. The pain is not affected by breathing or eating, and I have had it for more than 5 days despite taking painkillers. What could be causing this pain and what should I consider for further evaluation?

Is there any concern using a low-level laser (cold laser) on the chest area, particularly over the heart? Also, is it correct to assume that the cold laser does not penetrate through bone? Additionally, what are the potential effects of using a 3-diode laser with 30 milliwatts per diode, 830 nanometers, and delivering 3 joules of power every 32 seconds on the temporalis and frontalis muscles of the scalp, and muscles of the neck?

I am recovering from the flu, but I have significant leg weakness and can hardly walk. This happened the last time I had the flu, but the leg weakness recovered. This time, it is not improving, and I am using a walker to move. What could be causing this and what should I do?
