I’m having an upper endoscopy done. I heard it is an invasive procedure. Why? Is there a major risk involved? What about COVID-19? Is this sort of thing safe during covid time?

Do I need to go to the hospital to get my heart checked, and why does my heart look like this now?

I have been experiencing a painful infection for several months, which my doctor initially thought might be a yeast infection. I was prescribed fluconazole to take every other day for 10 days, but I'm still experiencing pain. I have tried some creams for cuts, but they haven't helped. I have a complex medical history, including critical care for pneumonia, bronchitis, an inflamed heart, COPD, a blood clot, and high blood pressure. What could be causing this persistent infection, and what should I do next?

I was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis in 2008. What is the progression of this disease, what is the general prognosis, and are there any emerging therapies or clinical trials I should be aware of?

I've been experiencing wheezing for about 3 or 4 days, following a respiratory ailment with fever and coughing. My fever was 100.1 F and I took Ibuprofen. I have a history of shortness of breath, but heart, allergies, and lungs have been ruled out. Is the wheezing something that will probably go away on its own?
