I am having extreme breast pain in my right breast. I have been breastfeeding for the past 11 months and have not had a menstrual cycle since before I became pregnant. The breast has been completely emptied and I do not have a clogged duct. It is extremely sore to the touch and I see no changes or redness. No fever at this time. I’m also not taking any medications, nor do I have any medical conditions. What could be causing this pain and what tests or treatments should I consider?
