My 10-year-old son has had fluctuating TSH levels from 9.355 to 6.025 over the past year, with an Assay free of 1.1 to 1.0 each time. His T3 level is now 29.00%, and his cholesterol levels are worsening. He is active, not obese, and eats fairly well, but he is always tired and crabby. He is being treated for low iron and Vitamin D, but his TSH has never been normal. I am concerned about a possible thyroid issue and his worsening lipid panel. What should I do?

I make under $1200 a month and can't afford premium healthcare. What resources do I have to get the help I need now? I haven't been able to see a doctor since my last place of employment over a year ago. I don't have any prescriptions at the moment. I work 8am to 10pm 6 days a week under intense stress. I come from a family and culture where seeking help is frowned upon. My medical history includes chronic pain, severe anxiety, and multiple concussions.

I had a thoracotomy 2 weeks ago and am still experiencing severe pain, with a pain level of 7-8. My surgeon has refused to prescribe additional narcotics. Is it unusual to still have such high pain levels at this point, and what can I do if my doctor will not help?

I have a nail fungus issue and have removed the nail already, but the problem persists. I live in Malaysia and want to know if using household bleach, like the one used to bleach clothes, is safe for treating nail fungus. Will it damage my skin, and is there a recommended brand? Additionally, why does nail fungus happen, and did I do anything wrong to cause it?
