My 87-year-old mother has sclerosis and osteoarthritis in her spine, is in constant pain, and is taking multiple medications. Her family doctor prescribed Concerta, a drug typically used for ADHD, to help control her pain. Does this sound appropriate, and should she also consult a pain physician for additional treatments?

I fell backwards and hit my head and neck against the kitchen cabinets. I have a mild headache and neck pain. I applied cold to the area and tried to drive, but my neck hurt to sit straight up. Should I switch to hot and cold therapy? What should I do next?

I woke up with a sore right shoulder, chest, and back, feeling congested but without a fever. I have PCOS and had a hysterectomy in June. I'm worried about heart symptoms, but my arm movement is not painful. Should I treat this as a cold or see a doctor, considering heart attack symptoms can differ in women?
