My 22-month-old son has had a high fever for 48 hours, ranging from 101-104F, and is not responding well to Tylenol. He is feeling chilly, shivering occasionally, and has heavy breathing due to congestion. He is very drowsy and lethargic when his fever is high, but becomes more active when it goes down. What can I do to help him, and how can I determine the underlying issue?

My wrist has been hurting and now the pain is in my arm and shoulder. It was a sprain from a car accident about 6 months ago, and the pain is constant. The shoulder pain started yesterday. The wrist pain is sharp and has waves of pain, while the shoulder pain is achy. I'm currently using Tylenol and pain balm, and I'm 42 years old. Is this a nerve injury, and what should I do?

I accidentally took acetaminophen with codeine 30mg and cyclobenzaprine 5mg together. Will I have any problems, or is it okay to take these two medications together?

I have a boil under my armpit that’s very inflamed. I have boil ease, antibiotic ointment (but it’s not opened yet) or warm wash cloth. What should I do? I know it needs to pop but I’m scared. It really hurts. How long have you had the inflammation? How large is the affected area? Is your armpit painful or tender? How long have you been using the antibiotic? How old are you? Anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?
